APPLICATION SUBMISSION AND PROCESSING
- Please allow up to 5 business days for processing and response to your submission.
- Once the submission has been reviewed, we will be in contact with you for payment and any additional information.
- You may pay by credit card over the phone, or submit a check via US mail.
- If you have not heard from us after 5 business days, please contact our front office staff at 309-434-2226 ext. 5
Online entry of all application documents is preferred to allow for faster processing times.
After the Final Plat is approved:
- We will contact you with a copy of the signed ordinance, and an invoice for any associated tap-on or parkland fees.
- In order to complete the recording process we require two (2) mylar copies and originals of all certificates submitted with the application, including:
- Surveyor’s Certificate (unless on the mylar plat)
- County Clerk’s Certificate
- Owner’s Certificate
- School District Certificate
- We will email you with the final recorded copy of and document number
All documents submitted in person should be submitted to the Economic & Community Development Department on the 2nd Floor of the Government Building.
